About Yatra
Yatra’s approach to therapy is client centered. She brings the qualities of compassion and curiosity to meet each client in their healing process. Through dedicated practice, she has cultivated a unique, heart centered approach to the counseling setting. Working with Yatra involves gently moving closer to one’s experience, discovering and strengthening intrinsic capacities, turning towards our edges with openness, kindness, curiosity, and reconciliation with oneself. Her practice is informed by her trauma informed training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, The Hakomi Method, and her work with the Diamond Approach. She uses a combination of experiential methods that lead clients to be more in contact with their present moment experience. From there, clients can gain awareness of patterns of behavior and limiting beliefs, and begin to create new possbilities in their lives.
